Project: Hao Guo - Hot Pot/ Seafood Restaurant
Architect: Interior Design: David Rockwell and the LAB at Rockwell Group, New York
Location: MGM Cotai, Macau, 2018

Hao Guo offers a relaxed atmosphere, which recalls the feelings of old Chinese family restaurants with small colourful tiles on the floor and Asian urban interiors with wood and metal motifs.Extraordinary seafood dish and the Chinese regional cuisine are offered under the same roof. The wood-fired oven for the lacquered duck, sizzling woks, clouds of steam from the dim sum containers, the rhythmic splash of barbecue cleavers on chopping boards in wood are part of an experience itself, enhanced by custom-designed lighting.

Light is a part of the experience, from the linear modules embedded under the wall tables through the discreet recessed ceiling lamps that help in the lighting of the individual tables, to the rays of the central sun, grafts of linear modules in the ceiling that help create the perfect setting for a room that shines with fun and energy and is ideal for families, groups and team events.

If hotpot tantalizes your taste buds, you can choose from our wide selection of premium seasonal produce from land and sea, and pair it with a variety of traditional, contemporary, or herbal broths across Northern and Southern China which can be cooked in individual or our specially-designed sharing hotpots.
