London November 2016 - A prime ground floor retail location in the heart of Clerkenwell EC1 is now home to a brand new showroom space for textile innovator, Camira, which promises to provide a dedicated, user-focused textile resource for fabric specifiers.

Camira showroom on the move to Clerkenwell’s Brewhouse Yard

The original design brief for Camira’s showroom was interpreted by Jenny Hill of Ingo Interiors in Liverpool and fit-out was handled by Manchester based Spatial Office Environments. The lighting concept, essential for textile colour representation, was conceived by the UK arm of Italian company Forma Lighting using the latest motorised Motolux lighting elements to transform the overall look into a dynamic retail space.

Frankfurt, March 2016 - Light and Building 2016 - formalighting, an expert provider of Italian designed architectural lighting systems, presents the new, innovative MOTOLUX range, where fixtures “come to life” through innovative, patented motorized technology and a simple laser remote control.

formalighting presents its groundbreaking MOTOLUX motorized lighting range

Forma Lighting’s future-oriented MOTOLUX range no longer requires the use of ladders or mechanical scaffolding. Time and money invested in after-hours lighting orientation are significantly reduced. The safety risks to a lighting maintenance team are almost obsolete.

formalighting’s Chairman, Lorenzo Maghnagi explains:

“Today’s advanced lighting technology has extended the lifespan of the lamp source and included the possibility to vary the colour temperature to match seasonal displays. FormaLighting’s new remote controlled motorized lighting range eliminates the need to manually adjust the colour temperature, tilting angle and pan of light heads.”

formalighting revisits an established concept and develops it with evolved, cutting edge designs dominated by compact, clean lines and competitive pricing to make the MOTOLUX range highly accessible. This added feature introduces new dimensions in flexibility and adaptability to meet specific individual requirements, which is always at the center of every brief - every specification. The compact motor, co-designed by our US counterpart and MIT engineer, Tom Devlin, is a refined product of over 10 years of organic engineering.
